How To Hold A Wedding That Won't Break The Bank

You hope your wedding is one of the happiest days of your life but when the party is over how does your bank account look?

You have the venue, the decorations, the outfits, accessories and many vendor services that go into the wedding that really put that bank account out of balance.

The easiest way to save money is to invite a smaller guest list if you pay by the head. Plus,  you won't want to pay for someone that you hardly know just because you thought you should invite them. Keep the list small with ground rules of who can or cannot have a plus one.

If you have a close relative or a close friend who has a profession in, for example, the entertainment industry, consider asking them if that could be their wedding gift to you or ask them for a "family" rate.

Now comes the choice of one of the most important details of your wedding, THE FOOD! Some wedding venues will have a package  including their catering and decor services or you might consider one allowing you to bring your own from a caterer in your budget.

You might also save by renting a hall and decorating with supplies from a party rental service.

Pinterest and YouTube have many DIY centerpiece ideas to investigate.

Given some thought, you can save money and host a great event.
